Eddie Muntz is Nelson'south father. He has a motorcycle and was once Nelson's soccer coach.[1] It was too hinted by Nelson that his father gets in machine accidents on purpose.[2]
History

When his wife got hooked on coughing drops, he took her golden tooth and left the family, proverb that he was going to the store for a pack of cigarettes. Nelson missed his father and frequently believed he really went for cigarettes.
Bart found Mr. Muntz at a circus and brought him back. Mr. Muntz explained he never intended to go out his family. When he went for the cigarettes, he likewise bought a chocolate bar. Unfortunately, the bar contained peanuts, to which he was highly allergic. When Mr. Muntz chip into the chocolate bar, he had an anaphylactic reaction, and the swelling both made him look hideous and rendered him unable to talk. A homo from a circus then took Mr. Muntz away and put him into a freak show, displaying him in a cage for people to see. The freak show patrons threw peanuts at him, which kept the anaphylactic reaction going and never allowed him to return to normal.[three]
He took part in the world's tallest homo pyramid record effort.
In "Simpsorama", Nelson reveals that he was arrested for armed robbery.
At some stage, his wife gets remarried to a clown and so he must take got divorced one way or another.[4]
In the episode "22 For xxx", it is said that Eddie abandoned Nelson one time over again, this time past skipping town.
He is mentioned to be living in Medicine Hat in "D'oh Canada." With Nelson having a half-brother living in Fort McMurray.
Behind the Laughter
- In The Simpsons Movie he alternated betwixt his "Bart Star" and "Sleeping with the Enemy" designs.
- His abandonment of Nelson is believed to be a reference to author Stephen King, whose male parent Donald Edwin Rex abandoned him as a child while claiming he was only going out to the store for cigarettes.
